The work Postcard was produced for the exhibition Kunst ved fleire blikk in Rosendal, Norway. Rosendal in Norway, is a village known for its baroque castle dating from 1665. The image on the front of the postcard, however, is from Rosendal castle outside of Stockholm, Sweden. The caption of the poscard that was translated from Swedish into Norwegian read:
 
Rosendal, June 8, 1905
A large crowd gathered at Rosendal to pay tribute to King Oscar II, after they had received the news that Norway had severed its personal union with Sweden
 
The postcards were placed among other postcards sold in the café, foyer and the museum shop at Baroniet Rosendal.
